My Father at the age of 49 was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. After three years of him having it he walked me down the asle for my wedding and now that it is coming up on my one year anniversary. My dad is getting worse but every time he sees me he tells me that he still remembers us dancing at my wedding and he tells me how beautiful I was that day . I love him for that but he also tells me he does not want to be a burden to me with his disease. I tell him all the time that he is not I just wiish there was a way to help him remember it. I have a hard time dealing with this and don’t really know how to talk to anyone about this but then I guess it does not help that just eleven days before my 25 th birthday I lost my grandmother and still don’t believe she is gone. Is there any advice I pray every day to help me through but I still am lost.
