A Prayer Of Victory

Father, spiritual blessings come from You in the midst of Satan’s attacks and because of this essential truth we know that if You are for us, who can be against us! There is no formidable foe that cannot be conquered as the power of Your Holy Spirit enables us to remain faithful and ever growing in our devotion to You. Remind us that as we share in Your sufferings we also share in Your glory. In all areas of trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, and danger we are more than conquerors through You who loves us abundantly. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, nor anything else in all of Your creation will be able to separate us from Your love that has been revealed to us through Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We rejoice with our family of believers and we thank You for the paths of abundance You lay out before us as we walk hand in hand with You who helps us in all things. Amen.

A Prayer For Living A Quiet Life

Father, the mindset of the world too often is a driving force in the way I conduct myself day in and day out. But as I saturate myself in Your Holy Scriptures I am much more inclined to regard Your approval and Your direction in the way I live. May the meditation of Your Word keep my focus on You, not myself this day. Let my conversation be wholesome rather than empty or conniving so that I benefit both the listener and myself. Let the work of my hands be productive and helpful to others, my family and myself. Let it be a positive witness to unbelievers of the work You are doing within me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.

A Prayer For Harvest

Father, out in the highways and byways of life there are many who are oppressed and enslaved to Satan and his addictive lifestyle. They simply exist and have not found the joy of living. Salvation is the only way they can be set free from the enemy’s shackles. We pray for that lost soul as we lift him to Your throne and intercede for his salvation. We bring the broken-hearted and abused, the lost and confused and ask that we might be part of the harvest as we share the good news of salvation. There is no one too lost or any one too steeped in sin that You cannot save, for You save to the uttermost. The ultimate harvest field is full of workers declaring, I once was lost, but now am saved. I am so thankful that I am among them. Amen.

A Prayer For Joyful Sounds

Father, we’re thankful for the immense variety of sounds that fill our day such as voices, machinery, music, prayer, wildlife, insects, and so much more. Those we usually take for granted are blessings You give that bring joy and gladness to our lives. We pray for our brothers and sisters who are hearing impaired and thank you for the aids and support given to them through various ministries and organizations. There is no greater “sound of joy or gladness” than that of hearing the voice of one(s) who surrenders his or her life and receives glorious forgiveness. Help us to be faithful workers in the harvest so that we can rejoice in the victorious sounds of the spiritual harvest of the souls of men and women, boys and girls. In the name of Jesus we pray. Amen.

A Prayer For The Broken-Hearted

Father, we’re so thankful that when we mess things up You don’t throw up Your arms, shake Your finger at us and say, “You made the mess. Now you fix it.” Plenty of others might do so, but Your compassion far exceeds Your judgment, for You did send Jesus to condemn, but rather to save us from our own sin and folly. We do lots of temporary “fixing up” in our lives that comes unraveled again or needs ongoing repair. But when we lay our broken hearts before You, You pick up the fragile pieces and restore us spiritually and emotionally. Thank You for binding up our wounds and pouring in Your ointment of healing for our sin sick soul. Only You, Father, can heal the body and spirit. Once we are touched by Your healing hand, we can’t help but reach out to others who need that touch as well. You call us to funnel Your love and comfort to others in pain with the same comfort we ourselves receive from You when we are undergoing pain, suffering, or loss. May we faithful in doing so. Amen.
